One App. One Team.
One Decade of Automation Experience.
Gate, lighting, climate, security, app, service — designed and supported by the same team. 8+ years of founder automation experience. Built for long-term support.
Most automation projects are run by three or four separate vendors. We built Onwords to be the opposite.
The gate installer doesn't talk to the lighting team.
The app vendor doesn't own the wiring.
When something fails, nobody owns it.
One team. End-to-end.
- Gate. Sliding, swing, folding — installed and serviced by the same team.Learn more about gate automation.
- Lighting & Climate. DALI lighting, AC integration, fan control — all under one system.
- Curtains. Motorized curtains and blinds with scenes, schedules, voice.
- Security. Ajax sensors, smart locks, video door phones, CCTV — one app.Learn more about security systems.
- App + Voice. Onwords app + Apple Home + Matter + voice — all your scenes in one place.
- AMC / Service. Annual maintenance, priority response, spare parts inventory.Learn more about AMC plans.

One app. Every system.

Gate, scenes, security, climate — in a single Onwords app.
No app-juggling. No “which app controls what?” confusion.
Same team. Any protocol.
Whether your home runs on Wi-Fi, Z-Wave or KNX, the same Onwords team designs, installs and supports it. The tech adapts to your home — the people don't change.
Built on eight years of hands-on automation.
Nikhil Deepak, founder of Onwords, has 8+ years of hands-on automation experience — including pre-Onwords electrical and gate work. Onwords as a company was founded in 2019; the underlying expertise is older. Every premium proposal goes across his desk.
Read founder profileLong-term support is our specialty.
- 10-year horizon. We commit to hardware availability and software support for at least a decade after installation.
- Spare parts inventory. Onwords keeps a stocked inventory of switches, modules and hubs, so failures don't mean rip-and-replace.
- AMC plans. Annual maintenance contracts with preventive visits, priority response and included spare-part replacements.
- Owner-of-record installer. The same installer who built your system answers your service calls — no vendor blame games.
- When you pick Onwords, you're picking the team that will still be answering the phone in 2036.

Premium isn't a finish — it's a discipline.
- Materials. Brushed metal, gold finishes, custom engraving. Switches that age with the home.
- Wiring discipline. KNX-standard labels, documented runs, schematic-backed installs. Boring is a feature.
- Scene quality. Mood-engineered, not just on/off. Lighting that knows the difference between dinner and a movie.

Frequently asked
01My current electrician installed something else — can Onwords still help?
Yes. We regularly take over partially-installed automation. The first step is a site audit: we map what is already working, what is salvageable, and what should be replaced. From there, one Onwords team handles the rest — including documentation, app integration and AMC — so you have one number to call.
02What does the annual maintenance contract actually cover?
The Onwords AMC covers preventive maintenance visits, priority service response, included spare-part replacements for normal wear, software/firmware updates, and remote diagnostics. Specific scope depends on the tier you pick. Long-term support is a specialty for us — we maintain a spare-parts inventory specifically so AMC promises are deliverable.
03Does the Onwords app work offline?
Yes for everything that matters locally. Scenes, schedules, motion-triggered automations and switch control run on the in-home hub regardless of internet. Internet is only needed for remote control from outside the home and for voice assistant integration. Your lights and gate keep working when the broadband is down.
04What happens if I move to a new home?
Onwords can decommission and re-deploy most equipment at a new property. We handle the relocation as a fresh project — site audit, what carries forward, what needs replacing for the new layout — and the AMC moves with you. Owner-of-record installer stays the same.
05Can Onwords take over an existing automation installed by someone else?
Yes, with a site audit first. We document the existing system, identify protocol compatibility, and propose a transition plan — either by bridging to our Home Pro gateway or replacing the parts that cannot be supported long-term. Once we take over, you get the same one-team, one-app, one-warranty experience.
06Is everything really under one warranty?
Yes. Because Onwords selects, installs and supports everything end-to-end — gate, lighting, climate, security, app — we issue a single comprehensive warranty for the system. No vendor blame games. If something fails, the same team you spoke to during design is the team that comes to fix it.
We pick up the phone. Always.
One team. One app. One decade of automation experience. One warranty for everything.
